The 12th Annual Congress of the Belgian Association of Urology “When Minimally Invasive Urology meets Evidence Based Medicine”, held in Brussels on 7 and 8 December 2012, was again a great success!
More than 250 urologists from Belgium and abroad took part in this high-level congress, where they could meet top-experts who gave tips and tricks and exchanged knowledge, where guidelines and practice where discussed and where they were informed on the latest developments in the field.
On Friday morning, the working groups sessions took place, giving the occasion to attend a specific session on one urology topic, moderated by an expert in the field.
These working group sessions were followed by working groups chairmen lectures, presentations, discussions and sponsored lectures. On Saturday afternoon, the ESRU session (focusing on residents in urology) and the FANC session (focusing on radiation protection), took place.
On Friday evening, a gala dinner was organised in the “Maison Grand Place”, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy excellent cuisine and swinging music at a very beautiful location in the heart of Brussels.
